'I don't want to show off '

''For me art is something that I'd do for myself. Even though im painting this for a college event , its not like I want anything back.

I know that what I'm doing is for myself ...not others. So bad remarks or criticisms don’t really affect me. I don’t want to show off. I'd rather want to see my work and be able to happily exclaim that ‘hey! i did that!’...... I want to leave a mark.''
